This propertiy has rooms spread over more than 2 buildings, so the comfort of stay really depends on what building/room you are in. We had a small, but newly renovated room with good heating. The best part of this hotel was all the staff I've encountered. They are all excellent communicaters who listen and try to cater any problems you may have. The Breafast room was very inviting and the menus were all better than I expected. There is a bus stop very nearby(just in front of the hotel) and it has good bus connections into the city and to outskirts. (Perfect place to stay if you have business at Norwich research park & the University of East Anglia) Personally, I walked to the city centre and even to the train station.

The hotel is lovely throughout. It is spread across three buildings. We had an Executive Double Suite and it was fantastic, spacious and comfortable. The staff were great, especially Matthew, who took care of our needs over the 4 days. We didn't have breakfast, but we had dinner and the food was excellent. There is also a garden area with a fishpond. The hotel is ideally placed for Norwich Town Centre, it is a 12 minute walk using the underpass. There is also a bus stop across the road if you don't fancy the walk, and another stop right outside the hotel for the return journey. The buses are the 11 and 12 pink line.

From the moment we arrived, my mum and I were made to feel very welcome. Our room was on the ground floor (great for my 80 year old mother). The room was large, light, and airy with an Ensuite bathroom. We had a drink in the bar where we were served by a friendly chap. He arranged a taxi for us as we were going to the theatre. The location of this hotel is perfect for the city. Our beds were very comfortable and we both slept well. We had a lovely breakfast, and because of my lactose intolerance, they made scrambled eggs with oat milk. It was a lovely stay. Thank you!

Chosen because of the great location. It gave us a comfortable base near the centre of Norwich so we could go and explore this historic and character full city. We didn't need the car at all, walked everywhere and just left it in the free car park. Staff were all lovely. Food was good, generous portions and value for money. Room wasn't the biggest but bed was very comfy and it was clean and comfortable. stairs could be a problem for some but the receptionist offered to get help with our bags when we arrived and left.

It has Edwardian (?) character, tall spacious rooms plus a delightful small restaurant garden which is a secluded sun trap. Good car park in the hotel grounds It is only a brisk 5 minute walk to the Chantry Place Shopping Centre. Emily Maher the Duty Manager - friendly, helpful and professional whether on reception or helping in the restaurant or serving in the bar. A real asset to the hotel.
